With our flagship Giving Back initiative allowing CPC to help countless young people around the UK, we are delighted to showcase a host of previously-unpublished purchases, projects and events supported by our signature charity endeavour.
CPC's Giving Back programme is what makes us unique. As a registered charity and not-profit, any surpluses generated by our procurement services form the basis of our Giving Back fund - and, since its 2019 inception, we have invited eligible members to apply for a slice of this money, allowing them to pitch ideas/requests for a range of worthy purchases, projects and events.
Whether procuring through a CPC purchasing framework, or bringing in one of our expert Crescent Consultants, you are helping CPC grow its surpluses, allow us the privilege of Giving Back to even more institutions. And the big beneficiaries?... Pupils and students, far and wide, from a range of backgrounds, with a variety of needs. CPC's Giving Back scheme serves to offer invaluable funding support, help that can truly improve their education experience. We call it Giving Back to the future.
At the start of 2025, CPC opened its Giving Back funding window and we soon received the highest number of applications in the initiative's history. Subsequently, CPC has now allocated a total exceeding £2m in funding support for the education sector (since Giving Back was launched). Scores of institutions have benefitted from our first few funding rounds. But the figures only say so much. What matters most are the stories, the differences made to children, the strides made by those children...
The following articles shine a light on some of the important work completed under the CPC Giving Back banner, with each of the features relating to applications made as part of our fourth funding window. Successful applicants in the fifth window have been busy bringing their own ideas to life and we look forward to reporting on a number of these shortly. In the meantime, we welcome you all to discover a number of CPC's game-changing, difference-making Giving Back purchases, projects and events.
