CPC is seeking to establish a framework agreement for the provision of staff absence management including risk management services to meet the cost of members’ staff absence.  

The framework will provide members with a choice of insurance brokers and/or insurance companies which are authorised and regulated in the United Kingdom. Suppliers will be appointed to provide staff absence protection and the reimbursement of staff absence costs. Additionally, CPC are looking to provide members with an alternative way of managing staff absence through the newly introduced discretionary mutual lot. 

Tenderers are required to demonstrate how, through their services, they will add value to the proposition for our members. The administration that institutions will be required to undertake will be a key factor in the evaluation together with insurer financial security, commitment to the sector, quality of service, breadth of cover and the premium rates. 

Interested providers can access the documentation through our Multiquote tender portal and we would be delighted if members could highlight the opportunity to any incumbent providers. 

The new framework is intended to launch on Monday 3rd May 2021 and will replace our expiring Staff Absence Insurance agreement which has been extended in the interim.
