CPC’s Paint and Decorating Supplies framework covers all manners of paint and sundry products including, but not limited to:

  • Emulsion
  • Undercoats
  • Primers
  • Floor paint
  • Woodstain
  • Varnish
  • High performance or durable varieties
  • Brushes & rollers
  • Dust sheets
  • Thinners & removers

The suppliers on the framework can offer their own range or other specialist products.  We therefore recommend that members speak with the suppliers directly if they are unsure of what they can provide or check the suppliers’ price lists.

This framework cannot provide painting contractors themselves but Lot 22 of CPC’s Minor Works Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) offers access to these professionals who can do the job for you (and your local contractors can apply for a place on the DPS too, increasing the level of competition on offer).

Members seeking to hire a contractor should consider the paint they are going to utilise in the first instance. CPC members gain much better prices for their painting products than contractors can and therefore you may be able to make a saving by purchasing the paints separately via CPC’s Paint and Decorating Supplies framework.

The framework can be accessed easily via a direct award process using either the price lists available on the suppliers’ individual webpages on the CPC website or by using the framework scoring – which allows you to see who scored the highest for the given award criteria when the framework was created. Further to this, there is a mini-competition option available for those who wish to purchase large volumes of products or increase the level of competition.

Your institution needs to have an account with the relevant providers specifically set up so that you benefit from the CPC members’ preferential pricing. Therefore, it is recommended for members to contact the supplier representatives direct to ensure they are not missing out.
