Why are energy prices so high?

There has been a lot of coverage in the media about energy prices and suppliers going out of business or having serious financial issues.

CPC’s Utilities Supplies and Services framework has a dedicated energy provider Dukefield Energy who source energy from a range of suppliers. All suppliers on the framework are heavily vetted and credit checked. We do everything we can to ensure we have confidence that suppliers can withstand any market disruption.
