Retender of CPC’s Entrance & Access Control Systems and Associated Equipment and Services framework

Published

By Myles Woodman

CPC’s Entrance and Access Control framework agreement has been well received by  members and now the time has come to start work on the retender of this agreement.

The CPC is currently in the process of drafting the tender documentation and scoping the retender of the Entrance & Access Control Systems, Associated Equipment and Services Framework.

We are now engaging with members to help us refresh and create a detailed, fit for purpose tender document package and we would greatly appreciate any comments, feedback, and guidance that you may have to help us. Please get in touch with us if you have any information regarding the following.

  • What experience you have had with Entrance and Access Control projects?
  • What lots if (any) have you used under the incumbent Entrance and Access agreement?
  • If so, who were the company selected?
  • If not, is there any supplier you wish to be included in the tender, such as a local contractor?
  • Are you able to provide any guidance on the specification and value of your opportunity?
  • Would you prefer to use a national or regional supplier for this requirement?
  • Are there any other services you would like to be included in the agreement, for example supply and installation of CCTV?
  • Were any staff specially trained or required certain qualifications to service your agreement?
  • Were any consultancy services used?
  • Did you encounter any problems when building your documents and running the project?
  • Is there anything you would change if you were to run a similar project?

And any other information or specifications you think may be relevant for the CPC.

CPC understand that the ability to monitor and control who is on campus is a vital tool to members to track and keep students, staff and visitors safe. Any support that members can provide to us during this stage of the retendering process will help us to meet your requirements as best we can.

Should you wish to discuss anything further or have feedback on the bullets above, please contact Contract Manager Myles Woodman on [email protected] or 0161 974 0945.
