CPC’s Paint and Decorating Supplies framework has been retendered and is now live

Whether it’s acrylic paint or rollers that you’re after, we’ve got you covered. CPC’s Paint and Decorating Supplies framework acts as a one-stop-shop for all paint products and decorating related consumables. Following the completion of the tender process by CPC, the following suppliers were successful in being awarded a place on the framework: 

• Crown Paints Limited 
• ICI Paints Akzonobel 
• PPG Architectural Coatings UK Ltd 

The framework offers 2 routes to market which members can utilise to suit their procurement needs. Direct award can be used for low value, urgent or one-off requirements because the process is quick and easy. Members may choose to award based on the average discount off list price, the scores awarded at the time of framework tender or based on price comparison using the price lists available on suppliers’ webpages, meaning Direct Award is the best option. Whereas a mini competition may be used where institutions have higher value requirements, service needs, or who are seeking a longer-term, mutually beneficial relationship. This will allow members to appoint a supplier for a formal contract over a number of years.
