Just launched - new Communications Solutions framework

Published

The new and improved Communications Solutions framework covers all areas of communications and telecommunications solutions and services, including connectivity, telephone systems and mobile phones.

With reliable technology being incredibly important, more than ever, for education providers, this framework offers market-leading and innovative solutions that will enhance learning environments.

The new framework, which launched on 16th December, provides a comprehensive suite of supplies and services for CPC members to access from a wide range of suppliers.

The first four lots focus on key individual areas of the communications market:

    • Lot 1 - Unified Communications and Telephony
    • Lot 2 - Network Connectivity
    • Lot 3 - Omni Channel / Multi-Media Communications
    • Lot 4 - Mobile Communications

The fifth lot meanwhile provides a national one stop shop for a customer’s needs:

    • Lot 5 - National Communications Solutions One Stop Shop

With the mandatory ISDN and PSTN switch-off fast approaching, organisations will no longer be able to acquire PSTN and ISDN after September 2023, with the old technology being completely switched off in 2025.

As such, now is a good time to review your communications infrastructure to meet the needs of the switch-off and improve the technology available to students and staff.

Whether that’s individual products or services (like mobile devices) or an integrated service combining multiple areas/channels, the new Communications Solutions framework will provide a solution to meet these needs.

The framework has been developed with education in mind to support with the current challenges faced, including requirements for high-speed internet, new technology and ISDN switch-off solutions, amongst other areas.

Lot 5 offers great flexibility for members to work with a single supplier to develop their communications strategy.

The framework is contract managed by Dukefield Procurement and there are various supporting documents available to help members utilise the framework, including a User Guide and Help Desk facilities.

If you would like more information about this new framework, contact Steve Davies, Head of Procurement at Dukefield Procurement via [email protected] or call 0345 900 2877.
