FEFMN meeting set for Yorkshire & Humberside

Published

Following our feature on the benefits of joining a networking group in 2023, we are pleased to share details of a recent FEFMN meeting and look forward to one ahead.

The North West meeting of the Facilities and Estates Management Network (FEFMN) group took place in early February at the CPL Group’s Procurement House HQ in Salford, with attendance continuing to grow with each meeting.

Supported by CPL Learning, our regional networking groups around the UK are open to any Facilities and Estates Management Professionals in the corresponding area, with a purpose to drive performance excellence and advance education within the sector.

These groups offer an excellent opportunity to come together and share information, learning experiences, knowledge and best practice, with many delegates attending in person, while others choose to join online via MS Teams.

Chair of the North West FEFMN group, Brian Sheard, commented: “I’m delighted attendance is continuing to grow because the FEFMN is a brilliant opportunity to come together and ultimately help and learn from one other.

"Through discussing those common themes that will affect all of our day-to-day roles, the group not only helps keep you up-to-date with the latest changes in procurement, but also share best practice within the sector.

"It’s great that the CPL Group is helping to facilitate and support the work of the group.

"My message to anyone who works in FE Facilities and Estates Management is to come along to the next FEFMN group in your region, whether it's in person or via MS Teams, because you will see all the benefits simply by getting involved".

Every FEFMN group meeting is listed via the CPL Eventbrite page, which includes joining instructions, while the meetings are also advertised via our social media channels, so be sure to follow CPL Group to stay updated.

FEFMN Yorkshire and Humberside

The next FEFMN event takes place in the foothills of the Pennines; a meeting of the Yorkshire and Humberside FEFMN group, to be held on Thursday 23rd March, with discussions scheduled from 1pm to 4pm.

Supported by CPL Learning, this upcoming meeting will be hosted at Kirklees College (Huddersfield Centre, Waterfront Quarter, Manchester Road, Huddersfield, HD1 3LD), with MS Teams meeting access also available.

To attend March’s FEFMN Yorkshire & Humberside meeting, please register by Friday 24th February here.
