The re-tender of the Plumbing Supplies framework has recently been concluded by NWUPC on behalf of the Joint Contracting Group. We are delighted to announce that the new framework has been awarded to:

• Saint Gobain Consortium (consisting of Saint Gobain trading as Bassets and Jewson trading as Grahams Plumbers Merchants)
• Screwfix Direct Ltd
• Travis Perkins Consortium (consisting of Travis Perkins, City Plumbing Supplies, PTS, and BSS)
• Wolseley UK Ltd

CPC member spend through the previous framework was over £2.5m and we are confident that the increased number of suppliers on the new framework will ensure that the new framework offers members competitive pricing and service. The product details used in the tender were also extended with input from HE Consortia and CPC members. The new framework has been let in three Lots:

Lot 1 Supply of Plumbing and Sanitary Equipment

Lot 2 Supply of Heating Equipment Lot 3 One Stop Shop

Lot 3 One Stop Shop

The framework has been established to meet Estates, Facilities and Academic Workshop requirements and we would be grateful if members could please let their relevant colleagues know about the new framework. The framework will be live on the CPC website shortly at ../suppliers/contracting-pipeline/ once all supplier contact details are finalised.
