As part of our contract management procedures one of our Senior Contract Managers recently had the opportunity to visit Jangro’s head office in Farnworth.

Jangro are one of our 13 suppliers on the Estates & Facilities Supplies Framework. The framework was awarded on 25th April 2016 and will run until 31st March 2019, with a possible extension until 2020. Along with Jangro, all the providers on the framework have a depth of knowledge in the sector.

Jangro have been established since 1980 and have over 35 years’ experience within the Cleaning and Janitorial sector. They have 43 independent janitorial suppliers covering the UK, Ireland and Isle of Man. The company is also ISO 9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 accredited.

Jangro provides full technical specifications for its products alongside support material which is available on their website. This includes their usage guides, safety compliance and risk assessments.

Customers can utilise a free online resource called Site Manager. This is the health and safety compliance solution, which is available to all online customers and contains hundreds of safety data sheets, COSHH risk assessments and process risk assessment documents.

Each time a new product via the framework is ordered online, the relevant compliance information such as safety data sheets, chemical risk assessment or work equipment risk assessment will automatically be added to the customer’s dedicated Site Manager area.

In addition, Jangro offers customers instant access to an integrated Learning Management Solution (LMS) to help ensure products are used correctly and safely. There are now 11 learning modules, available online which cover:
