CPC working collaboratively with Crown Commercial Service (CCS)

Published

We are pleased to announce that Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) is working collaboratively with the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) to ensure the education sector can access best value deals. By working together we can mutually support and develop specific frameworks for the benefit of the 4000 plus CPC members.

The first CCS framework which CPC will support under this programme is Postal Goods and Services (RM1063). This means CPC members will benefit from the public sector wide volumes to give the best value for customers. In addition, this collaboration will provide opportunities for additional support and guidance from the CPC Helpdesk to CPC members when they want to use the framework.

CCS is an executive agency of the Cabinet Office working on behalf of the whole of the public sector, offering a range of ready to use, EU compliant deals for the purchase of everyday goods and services. These framework agreements have been set up to help the public sector get the very best for their budget by saving time and money, as well as providing peace of mind by helping to protect from legal challenges.
