An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a growing Organisation based in Salford. CPC is a well-established not-for-profit Organisation with an excellent reputation in the Education sector. We are proud to provide our Colleges, Academies and Schools members with specialist advice on best spending practices and how to obtain best value for money.

The CPC team is made up of experienced and dedicated procurement experts who are able to offer support and guidance on producing EU-tendered purchasing frameworks. CPC frameworks cover a wide variety of products and services and our aim is to continue to develop this portfolio in line with our members'needs.

Reporting to the Business Services Supervisor and working within the finance team you will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to all customers and partners with sales ledgers and credit control.

The ideal candidate will be an educated to 5 Grade A-C GCSE’s (including English and Math’s) or a Degree Level preferably within finance and accounting. The role will suit a candidate who has some experience of working within an accountancy / credit control and a great understanding of Sage accounting or other financial software.

The successful candidate should be flexible, with the ability to pick up tasks quickly and efficiently. An enthusiastic team player, they should be customer focused and be able to handle numerous queries using tact and diplomacy. Computer literacy, together with numerical and clear communication skills are essential.
