Re-tender of the Software Licenses & Associated Services for Academies & Schools framework

The re-tender of the Software Licenses & Associated Services for Academies & Schools framework which went out to tender on 1st May 2018 has now been evaluated and the mandatory standstill period has successfully passed.

A total of 11 suppliers have successfully been awarded a place on the framework agreement which is due to launch to members on Thursday 9th August 2018.

The re-tendered framework will be split into the following 4 lots:

Lot 1 – Microsoft
The Microsoft lot includes but is not limited to the initial supply and renewal of a range of Microsoft licensing types. This lot also covers additional services associated with Microsoft licensing including but not limited to the identification of types of licenses required, providing ongoing advice, deployment of the licenses and ongoing support and guidance to ensure members have the correct licensing solution for their institution

Lot 2 – Adobe
The Adobe lot includes but is not limited to the initial supply and renewal of a range of Adobe licensing types. The lot covers additional services associated with Adobe licensing which includes but is not limited to the identification of types of licenses required, providing ongoing advice; deployment of the licenses and ongoing support and guidance to ensure members have the correct licensing solution for their institution

Lot 3 – Other off the Shelf Software
The Other off the Shelf Software lot includes but is not limited to the initial supply and renewal of a range of software ranging from security, antivirus and backup software through to music and film editing software and speech recognition software. The lot also covers additional services associated with software licensing including but not limited to the identification of types of licenses required, providing ongoing advice, deployment of the licenses and ongoing support and guidance to ensure members have the correct licensing solution for their institution

Lot 4 – One Stop Shop
Suppliers that were successful on all lots 1 – 3 were awarded a place on lot 4. There are a total of 5 suppliers on this lot who are able to provide all of the products/services detailed above.
