The new Stationery and Education Supplies framework launched on 1st October 2018 and was awarded to Banner as the sole supplier. Following the launch of the framework we understand that Banner have transferred their existing customers who were procuring through the old CCS/CPC agreement, onto the new framework. The new framework pricing covers thousands of product lines and it’s important that members recognise, that many lines have reduced in price although there have been some increases absorbed on others. Banner and CPC are confident that overall, the pricing is the most competitive available as clearly demonstrated by our comprehensive and stringent tender evaluation.
At an institutional level, Banner are currently reviewing any ‘non-core’ pricing and are including additional high usage products to the framework core price list on a daily basis. This in turn will increase the core list offering and provide additional pricing benefits to all CPC members procuring through the framework. Since the framework launched on 1st October over 400 additional lines have been added to the core price list. Pricing will be fixed for 12 months in accordance with the framework terms and conditions. In consideration of any price increases proposed by Banner due to commercial pressures, they must provide evidence from manufacturers regarding increase requests.
