West Lancashire College have over 3,500 students ranging from school-leavers to adults. The College offers full-time, part-time and evening courses. There’s a range of Apprenticeships for all ages and a variety of industry standard training, from entry through to degree level.
The College was looking for a supplier to conduct their Portable Appliance Testing and Fixed Wire Testing and so used our PAT & Fixed Wire Testing Framework. The supplier chosen to carry out the work was OCS Group UK. Sales Director, Graham Parker said: We have been working with Colleges and Universities alike for over 20 years. We know what equipment they are likely to have, and what frequencies would be appropriate for their risk assessments and their environment.
Building Services Co-ordinator at the College, Phil Keeley, was extremely impressed with the service he received from OCS. The College saved approximately 13.5 % in financial terms as well as making operational efficiency savings. Phil Keeley said: By using the framework agreement, it has helped us to reduce costs and time that we would spend going through the tender procedure.
