Sir William Romney's School is an 11-16 secondary school with academy status. Located in the small town of Tetbury in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds, the school has almost 500 students enrolled. They had a requirement to purchase some rowing machines to add to their school gym equipment.
Prior to using the CPC framework, the School had previously used local suppliers directly rather than going through a formal framework contract.
On this occasion the School used the CPC Quote Tool for the Sports, Fitness & Gym Equipment framework.
Use of the framework resulted in numerous benefits for the School and they found the Quote Tool particularly valuable. Finance Manager Deborah Anderson-Dixon said: “The Quote Tool was easy to use and time saving, resulting in a straightforward process where we just had to put the details in once and could then use the reputable suppliers already recommended.”
The School were also happy with the service they received from supplier, Fitness Warehouse. Deborah said: “They were easy to communicate with and delivered high quality equipment for our School.”
By using the CPC framework, the School impressively saved around 50% on acquisition cost as well as time and effort sourcing suppliers. They are extremely delighted with the results and they said they would definitely use the framework again.
