This framework offers a route to market for any member with a requirement relating to entrance and access control systems. It offers a route to market for all entrance and access control needs including supply, design, installation, bureau services, maintenance and repair.
Entrance and access control systems are the critical primary interface to maintain your organisation’s safety and security access permissions. An access control system is an important and effective part of your overall security system and its benefits include:
This framework has a total of 13 suppliers and is split into two distinct categories that relate to a member’s requirements:
Due to the diverse nature of our members’ estates and facilities infrastructure, it would not be feasible to develop a framework price list that would encapsulate the full extent of member requirements in this area. Accordingly, members wishing to meet their requirements through this framework should undertake a further competition to refine and confirm their requirements to the relevant framework suppliers. Within the framework user guide, templates have been provided to assist members in undertaking further competitions.
Due to the complexity of requirements in Lot 1, members are advised to allow between 3-4 weeks for suppliers to respond to further competition requests. Depending on the information provided by each member as part of a further competition, suppliers may be required to undertake a site visit/survey in order to tailor their proposal to the member’s specific requirements. Members are also advised to take account of peak demand periods around half-term and end-of-term periods when a large number of members may look to undertake installation/maintenance works. Members should confirm the required completion date for any works required at further competition stage, so that suppliers can allocate sufficient resources to the works delivery as part of their proposals.
Members with a requirement in Lot 2 are advised to allow between 1-2 weeks for suppliers to respond to further competition requests.
If you require support in running a further competition via this framework, Tenet Services can help. Tenet offer a nationwide service specialising in assisting education establishments to complete further competitions.
Tenet are part of the Crescent Purchasing Group of Companies and operate on a not-for-profit basis.
