The external and internal audit framework has the option to Direct Award or run a Further Competition. CPC’s recommended route would be to undertake a further competition considering your own particular requirements, however please see the user guide for more information.

There has been a number of issues over the last few months regarding the lack of bids from external auditors on our Audit Services framework. CPC have undertaken meetings with all the external audit suppliers to discuss what the issues have been.
CPC’s Audit Services framework agreement was launched in December 2020 and on average is being used by three education institutions every week as a fast and compliant route to purchase a full range of audit services.
