We are excited to announce that our 2026 CPC Giving Back charity funding window was officially opened on Monday 19th January 2026, with applications being welcomed from CPC members through to a closing date of Friday 27th February. ⏱️
As you may know, CPC itself is a registered charity and non-profit and, each year, our governing Board of Trustees approves (in line with CPC's reserves policy) the redistribution of excess surplus funds, fuelling transformative reinvestment in UK education.
Since its inception in 2019, our signature Giving Back programme has been a resounding, difference-making success, with over £2.1 million being designated for reinvestment into the sector. Having identified consistent crossovers, the current remit of the Giving Back is to facilitate purchases, projects and events in support of the following groups.
Learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
Learners standing to gain from physical/mental wellbeing support
Learners affected by absenteeism at school, college or university
To briefly illustrate the kind of funding available to institutions, here's what our first three Giving Back windows looked like...
In 2019/20, CPC was Giving Back £259,020 in sponsorship grants, to 33 of our members.
In 2021/22, CPC was Giving Back £288,309 in sponsorship grants, to 68 of our members.
In 2023/24, CPC was Giving Back £201,668 in sponsorship grants, to 33 of our members.
Then, in 2025, we went bigger than ever, to meet our biggest demand, Giving Back £611,955 in grants, to 94 members.
2024/25 was a hugely successful year for CPC and, to celebrate, we are ready to support even more worthy applications.
To be in with a chance of securing Giving Back grant funding in 2026, we encourage you firstly to read the rules in full. From there, should your institution be eligible, we ask you to pleased complete the application form, having already allocated the necessary time for the relevant quotes/estimates you may need to accompany your finalised application.
Following the window's closure on Friday 27th February, pitched purchase, project and event ideas will be assessed by CPC's Giving Back evaluation panel, before institutions are notified of whether or not their funding application has been successful.
This year's Giving Back funding pot is set with a total overall limit of £500,000 and an individual application limit of £10,000.
