The new-look Crescent Learning is here!

As the new academic year gets underway, Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) is delighted to announce the launch of its new and improved Crescent Learning information/training resource, which can be found in its own section of the CPC site.

CPC has strengthened and updated the guidance we provide to our members as part of our Giving Back philosophy and our charity’s aim of improving procurement services within the education sector. The newly revamped Crescent Learning platform includes an all-new procurement toolkit, presenting CPC members with new templates and guides for all of the processes they need to follow across the four quadrants of public procurement - plan, define, procure and manage.

Over the coming months, we will continue to add to Crescent Learning, including additional ‘how to’ guides and much more based on user feedback. CPC will continue to support its 10,500+ members through our Regional Procurement Advisor (RPA) network, who can always be contacted for specific advice and guidance. Find out who your RPA is here.

This new site has been developed over the last six months by CPC’s Learning & Development Lead, Mark Pearson. Mark has been leading the way with Procurement Act 2023 guidance during the last year, from delivering PAG Presents webinars to partaking in the Department for Education's Communities of Practice. In launching Crescent Learning, Mark commented:

"After months of hard work, I’m delighted CPC is now launching this much-needed and updated procurement learning portal for our members and clients, in tandem with the new academic year. The ground-breaking and innovative FELP portal has now been retired and our fully revised Crescent Learning resource enhances the information that was available via that much-loved platform. We will continue to update Crescent Learning over the coming months and years, so please make sure to bookmark it and keep revisiting it, remembering CPC can be both the first stop and final destination on your procurement route to market."
