Just days remain until the inaugural CPC Supplier Excellence Awards, with a number of figures from the education and Manchester communities helping bring the event to life.
A first in CPC’s 25-year history, the Supplier Excellence Awards seek to recognise performance, innovation and collaboration in our vast, education-focused supply chain and will take place on the evening of Wednesday 24th July, at the distinctive, towering Hilton Manchester Deansgate.
This special gala celebration is being held in partnership with Supplier Excellence Award Lead Sponsors, Wella and Stone, as well as its Gold Sponsors, Konica Minolta and YESSS Electrical, who have proven invaluable supporters in helping CPC get this landmark event off the ground.
More than 20 CPC framework suppliers will be represented among our 2024 Supplier Excellence Awards finalists, with categories to acknowledge successful small, medium and large suppliers, new suppliers, customer service and procurement professionals, as well as commending those who accomplished good work in driving innovation, social impact and carbon reduction/sustainability.
Helping to select our winners are a panel of judges bringing diverse experience and expertise, including John Shiels MBE, Chief Executive Officer of the Manchester United Foundation, and Lisa Davenport, CEO of Moss Side-based, Manchester youth charity, Millennium Powerhouse.
A special contribution from Manchester’s famed arts community is also expected on the night, which is poised to provide a significant networking occasion for education sector stakeholders.
Your compere for the evening will be Gavin Oattes, a comedian, author and entrepreneur who has first-hand experience of the education sector, having worked as a primary school teacher.
The event will commence following its 6.30pm drinks reception, with any enquiries about table availability directed here and extra information available from CPC Events Co-ordinator, Ellie Griffiths.
