We wanted to launch the new framework as early as possible this year to allow members plenty of time to co-ordinate your tender processes for August renewals. The new framework therefore launched on Monday 1st February 2021 and follows the same structure as the outgoing framework by being split into two lots:
Lot 1 | Colleges based throughout the UK |
Lot 2 | Land-based colleges (agricultural) based throughout the UK |
The new agreement will continue to allow members to appoint a broker and/or insurer through a single compliant exercise, maximising competition within the education insurance space.
Savings through the previous CPC college insurance frameworks have been significant for a number of years as confirmed in this previous CPC newsletter article.
It’s difficult to know exactly what will happen with insurance premiums in the wake of Coronavirus but now more than ever it will be vitally important to ensure that you achieve best value through competition, as provided by CPC’s new framework.
The framework once again comes with a detailed ‘how to’ guide, providing template documentation to support you every step of the way through your further competition process. All the information will be available for members to download from the Insurance and Associate Services for Colleges framework page and help will continue to be provided by both CPC and partners Risk2Value.
The successful providers awarded a place onto our framework are detailed as follows:
FE Protect Ltd (Lot 1 & Lot 2)
Hettle Andrews & Associates Ltd (Lot 1 & Lot 2)
The National Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Society Limited (Lot 2)
Zurich Municipal (Lot 1 & Lot 2)
More information can be found on our Insurance and Associate Services for Colleges framework page.
