Advice on Preparing Insurance Tenders

Published

Please forward this article on to whomever deals with your institutions insurance renewals, they will definitely benefit most from this.

For insurance renewals due 1st August 2018, now is the perfect time to start preparing your insurance tenders through the Insurance & Associated Services for Colleges framework. It is easy to underestimate the time involved in gathering the information required for your market presentation, so please don¹t start the process too late. The framework providers appreciate receiving tender requests as early as possible as it allows them more time to familiarise themselves with your College and to gather any additional information they may require. The longer you can allow suppliers to respond the greater opportunity you give your institution to achieve best value for money. Reported savings are at 21% on average through the CPC framework.

The framework gives you a choice of broker and/or direct insurer and brings several other benefits to user Colleges:

  • Genuine premium and broker fee discounts

  • Compliance with EU Public Sector Procurement Regulations

  • Simplified form-based purchasing process

  • CPC & R2V support throughout

  • Insurance Policy wordings designed for the education sector

  • Extra risk-related services

  • Long-term benefits from being part of a sector-wide scheme with enormous purchasing power

Please read the Aquinas College case study for further evidence of what the framework can help you to achieve. Should you be considering using the CPC framework in 2018 please contact Gary Sadler (CPC) at [email protected] or Insurance Consultant, Graham Peck (R2V) at [email protected] for guidance.
