Anticipation is already building for a major new procurement framework in the field of UK construction - with Crescent Purchasing Consortium currently playing a central role in establishing foundations, ahead of its forthcoming launch. 🏗️
After research and market engagement highlighted various concerns and challenges relating to construction frameworks in general, CPC has been moving proactively to address this, working with experts from the field to develop a worthy solution.
Through an innovative new partnership with the construction and engineering lawyers Weightmans and the award-winning independent development and construction consultancy Identity Consult, CPC has been actively laying the groundwork for our new, problem-solving procurement resource, set to be known as Crescent Construction.
While full details of the framework are still to be revealed, a CPC professional close to the construction project's development has described it as poised to “usher in a step-change in how public sector building projects are procured”, while offering both education establishments and wider public sector institutions “a best-in-class solution to the problems identified”.
With the framework having reached Invitation to Tender stage in late September, we advise schools, academies, colleges and universities to watch this space for more, as Crescent Construction readies to change the game in construction procurement...
