Arthur J. Gallagher withdrawal from CPC FE College Insurance Framework

Published

On 13th April 2015 CPC have received notification from Arthur J. Gallagher (AJG) of their request to be removed from CPC’s FE College Insurance framework. Following member feedback in 2014 CPC have been working closely with AJG and their partners Risk Management Partners (RMP) to review their offering and market pricing which makes this all the more disappointing. AJG & RMP have been through a detailed review with their insurers but ultimately have been unable to encourage them to make the necessary revisions to their offering. In light of this CPC have no option other than to accept their request as unfortunately we cannot allow a provider to change their insurer midway through a framework period.

The CPC framework remains the most competitive and compliant route available for FE Colleges to cover all of your insurance needs. We still have four leading providers on the framework that are well established and well experienced in the FE sector as detailed below:

Lot 1: Colleges (not land-based) in England and Wales
  • Hettle Andrews (with partner insurer Travelers)

  • Marsh (with partner insurer RSA)

  • Zurich Municipal (direct insurer)

Lot 2: Colleges (not land-based) in Scotland
  • Marsh (with partner insurer RSA)

  • Zurich Municipal (direct insurer)

Lot 4: Land-based Colleges throughout the UK including Northern Ireland
  • Hettle Andrews (with partner insurer Travelers)

  • NFU Mutual (direct insurer)

  • Zurich Municipal (direct insurer)

  • (Colleges that are NOT predominantly land-based but nevertheless have a significant land-based element can use Lot 4 in conjunction with Lots 1 or 2.)

CPC along with our partner brokers Risk2Value (R2V) are here to assist you in any way we can throughout the process offering expert insurance & procurement advice.

If you have any queries relating to this notification or require any further information on the FE Insurance framework please contact the CPC contract manager Gary Sadler, 0161 974 0940.

The withdrawal from the current CPC Framework does not affect any CPC members that have contracted with AJG (or its predecessor companies) from previous Frameworks. AJG will continue to offer the same service up until the next time the College tender.
