CPC members will be aware that the latest round of grant funding applications launched in February 2020 and was scheduled to be open until April 24th 2020.
Following consultation with the CPL Group Board, it has been decided to immediately close the current application window and place all CPL Group funding for member activities on hold. This decision will be reviewed once the current global COVID-19 crisis has been resolved. Given the uncertainty surrounding economic operations of all CPL Group businesses as a consequence of the closure of the majority of schools and colleges across England, this is a prudent position for the group to adopt.
We will advise all members when the funding window re-opens and for those members that have applied under the current window, your applications will remain valid and will be first under consideration at the point of closure of the next available application window.
We regret having to take this action, but given the current economic climate, the protection of our employees through the availability of group reserves is critical.
