Our audit providers on the Audit Services framework are finding across the audit market that the risks and challenges associated with delivering high quality audits have substantially increased in the past few years. They are focusing on the quality of their work and are choosing to invest substantially in the training and development of their staff and the tools and technology they use as a result.
Additionally, they are undertaking more detailed audit work with an increased volume of quality control processes. These important enhancements are in line with the new Ethical Standards released December 2019 with the new requirements meaning that the audit service providers need to increase their pricing for delivery.
