Consider a career at CPC in 2026

We're soon approaching the two-year anniversary of CPC consolidating its multiple education-serving brands into a one-stop procurement shop for the sector. And we've achieved a lot in that time. But... what exactly is it that we do again? 😂

Simply put... CPC helps schools, academies, colleges and universities to procure the goods, works and services they need.

This can cover anything from equipped gymnasiums to ICT facilities to on-site libraries to audio-visual suites and beyond.

With our 10,000+ members able to access more than 80 compliant purchasing frameworks, CPC can provide the education community with professional guidance and support, learning and development resources, training opportunities and more.

But it is perhaps our status as a registered charity and non-profit that makes CPC a destination you might consider for your career, as we continue our endeavours to make a difference to young learners through Giving Back to the education sector.

Giving Back is our procurement-focused charity's flagship initiative and it duly leads the way for everything we do. Without the obligations of shareholders to appease, CPC allocates its surplus funds for reinvestment in the sector, welcoming our members to apply for grant support in our periodic Giving Back grant funding windows.

Having sat on the Giving Back assessment panel in 2025 and covered a host of successful project outcome reports, it has been heartening to see the various positive effects our Giving Back funds have made at so many different institutions, helping them to deliver a superior education experience, for a wide variety of learners, through a diverse range of means.

From primary schools to universities, Giving Back has helped bring scores of worthy projects to life and, with our 2026 funding window closing on 27th February, we look forward to evaluating the latest round of pitches shortly. This year's Giving Back pot was set at a cool £500,000, with eligible CPC members invited to apply for up to £10,000 apiece; real difference-making money.

As well as its continued support for young learners, CPC truly endeavours to look after its 80+ members of staff around the UK, prioritising wellbeing, flexibility and personal development opportunities, with a slew of further employment benefits on top...

Having hit a proverbial home run with our Winter Event at Manchester's Everyman Theatre, our resilient and resourceful Events team is currently plotting the company's annual summer get-together, scheduled for the spectacular setting of Warwick Castle.

On top of that, our exciting work alongside the Manchester United Foundation is continuing via this spring's CPC Inclusion Cup events, with other blossoming partnerships helping expand our charity's reach, as we explore new ways of Giving Back in 2026.

If you're looking to take the next step in your career, you may do well to consider CPC; a place where Giving Back is central to our ethos and our everyday work helps to make its growing impact even greater. A number of vacancies are listed here...
