Crescent Purchasing Consortium has once again been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ by Great Place To Work®, the global authority on workplace culture.
The news was announced in March at the prestigious Best Workplaces Awards, held at London’s Grosvenor House and hosted by actor and comedian Richard Ayoade, with CPC ranking the 55th of the UK’s Best Workplaces in the Medium-sized category.
Managing Director of Crescent Purchasing Consortium, Darren Lowe, said, "I’m delighted Crescent Purchasing Consortium has been recognised as one of the 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces™ by Great Place To Work® UK! This is all down to the anonymous employee survey responses our team members gave, so a big 'thank you' to all our colleagues; it’s thanks to you we have such a great company culture and I’m very proud to be part of such a tremendous team. I look forward to building on the successes of last year in 2025, working towards our vision to be the procurement partner of choice for the education sector".
This award is CPC’s first recognition in 2025, following on from these five accreditations from Great Place To Work in 2024:
• UK’s Best Workplaces™

"Year after year, it's truly inspiring to witness a growing number of organisations earn a spot on our UK’s Best Workplaces™ List. We’ve seen an increase yet again in Trust Index scores, which means the bar has been raised and this accreditation is a significant and tremendous accomplishment. The UK’s Best Workplaces all excel in creating consistently great experiences for all employees through fostering high levels of trust, pride and camaraderie. These crucial elements collectively contribute to creating cultures where employees feel they can truly be themselves and thrive in a supportive and caring environment. Congratulations to Crescent Purchasing Consortium for achieving a place on our 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces™ list".
Great Place To Work® performed rigorous evaluations of hundreds of employee survey responses alongside Culture Audit™ submissions from leaders at each company to create the 2025 UK's Best Workplaces™ list. They then used these data insights to benchmark the effectiveness of companies' employee value propositions against the culture their employees actually experience. Only those businesses who achieve the highest scores after evaluation receive Best Workplaces™ status.
