CPC explores recycled laptop initiative for member institutions

Published

By Rana Holland

CPC continues to take significant strides in supporting our members across the education sector, fulfilling our role as a not-for-profit with an emphasis on charitable reinvestment.

In addition to our Giving Back funding initiative, which has donated some £1.56 million to date (helping various institutions advance their teaching and learning), we are looking to approach our membership and gauge the appetite for being part of a new, CPC-led, laptop recycling scheme.

How will it work?

In partnership with our valued suppliers, CPC has decided to undertake an initial fact-finding exercise, to determine what level of demand exists among our 10,000+ member institutions.

Should interest be sufficient, we will gather recycled machines from across our supply chain (which currently contains more than 1,000 suppliers) and then donate to members, in line with our Giving Back philosophy.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this offer and would like to take part in a possible forthcoming laptop recycle scheme, please send your expression of interest to [email protected]
