Cashless environments are becoming increasingly common with the decline of paying for items in cash having been further escalated by the Covid-19 pandemic. This has influenced all sectors including education, resulting in improved technologies in the market for education providers to access.

Cashless payment solutions and software in schools, colleges and universities are essential for supporting effective cashless catering in the public sector from point of sale to nutritional reporting.  T hese solutions can be adopted not just for catering but other areas such as payments for school trips, uniforms, tuition fees, car parking and much more!!

CPC’S new Cashless Payment Solutions framework has been developed to enable an efficient route to purchasing new technology for cashless payment solutions through a one-stop-shop. This allows for organisations to procure all of their software and hardware requirements from a single source via direct award or through a further competition process, rather than having to run multiple tendering exercises.

The suppliers on the framework include – CRB Cunninghams, Civica, Pebble and MCR Systems. We are pleased to have a good choice of suppliers that are equipped to provide solutions based on their extensive knowledge of education providers, tailored to customer requirements and objectives.  Suppliers are aware of the challenges schools and academies face, integrating multiple software platforms to draw through necessary information whilst also complying with data protection regulations.

As with all CPC frameworks, a Public Contracts Regulations 2015 compliant tendering process has been undertaken and there are multiple supporting documents available including a User Guide to support you.
