Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) have been out and about at different events this May, with appearances at the Schools and Academies Show (SAAS), AoC Finance Conference & Exhibition and Procurex National.
Up first on May 1st was the latest Schools and Academies Show (SAAS), which this time took place at the ExCeL in London. The SAAS is the place to be for the education sector and is attended by over 3,000 schools leaders from across the United Kingdom, twice a year.
We were delighted to bring our new-look brand to this fantastic event, alongside nine of our trusted suppliers, who joined us as part of the CPC Village. With representatives from our Crescent Consultancy and Crescent Learning arms also on hand, the stand was busier than ever and we had lots of great conversations about how CPC can support your procurement journey and be the procurement partner of choice for the education sector.
Both the CPC Village and our new brand received some fantastic feedback and we will be returning to the SAAS later on this year, when it takes place on 20th November at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. Next up was Loughbrough and the Association of Colleges (AoC) Finance Conference and Exhibition, an event that saw movers and shakers from across the education sector come together for the day and that covered lots of key topics, from political changes to accounting consolidation.
CPC ‘s procurement and consultancy experts in attendance that day had further great conversations around the support that we can offer, especially around the Procurement Act 2023 and how we are helping to make a difference to the sector through our Giving Back charity initiative.
Later in May, we were delighted were to exhibit at Procurex National in Liverpool for the first time, showcasing sister brand Tenet Procurement Services (TPS) alongside the great work CPC is doing in the sector.
Procurex is the go-to event for public procurement in the UK and our team made the most of its networking and learning opportunities. Our stand had a steady stream of traffic throughout and we made lots of new connections, with many insightful discussions around the procurement challenges that delegates are facing this year.
And the excitement isn't over yet - CPC is gearing up for more events over the coming months! We are delighted that TPS will be represented at the CIH Housing Conference, which takes place in Manchester at the end of June (25th to 27th), not to mention the inaugural CPC Supplier Excellence Awards, which will be held at the Hilton, Manchester on 24th July, celebrating the fantastic work of our suppliers.
