A time and effort-saving solution for the compliant procurement of a wide selection of parts, the newly live CPC Electronic Components purchasing framework covers batteries, capacitors, resistors, switches and more.
Registered members of Crescent Purchasing Consortium can put this agreement to work, with more than 10,000 signed-up to date and further details on membership (which is free of charge for UK education institutions) here.
CPC's Electronic Components framework is one of 88 agreements currently available to our members, and offers a number of points of assistance to help enhance your procurement pursuits, from its Direct Award and competition options to its embedded opportunities for the provision of greater social value and improved community impacts.
With CPC Contract Manager support forming part of the overall package, this compliant procurement solution is comprised of several distinct lots, covering the purchase of electronic components (including development boards and associated products), as well as test and management equipment, plus rechargeable and single use batteries.
Here are some of the purchases accessible to our members via this new and compliant agreement:
Electronic components (including development boards and associated products), covering diodes, capacitors, resistors, switches, transistors, voltage regulators, fuses, jack plugs and circuit boards, plus robotics components, student kits, programmable devices, integrated circuits and single use computers.
Test and measurement equipment, covering oscilloscopes, probes, test kits, microwave leakage detectors, thermal imagers, spectrum analysers, benchtop environmental test chambers and multi-meters.
Rechargeable and single use batteries, covering both rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries and accessories (AAA, AA, C, D, PP3), coin cells, button cells, camera, laptop and phone batteries, emergency light batteries, tool batteries and chargers for batteries included in the framework.
An expanded selection of goods and/or services that fall within the remit of these lots can be found on the relevant framework page, which also compiles a series of further benefits available to member institutions.
Having gone live on 1st July, the Electronic Components framework will remain accessible to members until 30th June 2026, with a two-year extension option in play. Contact Contract Manager Rezia Begum to discuss.
