Crescent Purchasing Consortium is pleased to announce that our FE Facilities Management Network (FEFMN) has had a winter glow-up and will return and relaunch this December as the Estates Advisory Group (EAG).
Taking on the mantle from its predecessor, the new-look EAG will continue with CPC's mission to facilitate connections and collaborations between facility managers in the further education space, providing a platform for effective local networking and knowledge sharing. Facilities professionals attending our regionalised EAG meetings can expect to learn from industry peers, with attendees encouraged to share any relevant, estates-focused issues and best practice examples with the group.
Under its previous guise, the regional meetings of the EAG had adopted a hybrid or virtual format, thus ensuring interested members may reap the benefits of this resource without committing extensive time or travel. The Estates Advisory Group is open to all CPC members with facilities/estates responsibilities and we look forward to sharing more on our plans shortly.
Among the institutions represented at past events have been Aquinas College, Kirklees College, Leeds College of Building, The Manchester College, Sheffield College and Wakefield College, with Customer Engagement Manager, Jack Horton and Head of Contracting Services, Peter McMullan, as well as Regional Procurement Advisor, Louise Ashcroft, having each represented CPC.
We welcome members to register their interest in attending, or even chairing, an Estates Advisory Group by contacting [email protected] - and we look forward to welcoming you to a regional EAG meeting in the very near future... 🤝
