CPC’s new Legal Services framework has just launched with an improved and flexible lot structure

CPC’s new Legal Services framework has been developed for the education sector to provide a comprehensive set of services to support CPC members with all of their requirements in relation to legal services, large or small.

Following the extensive market research that was undertaken, the lot structure was developed to offer greater flexibility with a combination of geographical and specialism-led lots. There is also a dedicated and all-encompassing lot for education to cover every eventuality.

There are 7 lots in total:

Lot 1 - National One Stop Shop

Lot 2 - Legal Services: Human Resources, Pensions and People

Lot 3 - Legal Services: Academy Conversion and Post Conversion Services

Lot 4 - Legal Services: Property

Lot 5 - Legal Services: Contracts, Procurement Governance and Related Matters

Lot 6 - Legal Services: Dispute Resolution and Litigation

Lot 7 - Legal Services for Education

The framework has 8 suppliers across the 7 lots, 4 of whom are able to provide services for the National One-Stop-Shop.

The framework is fully compliant with UK Public Contracts Regulations (2015) and there is a choice of options for utilising the framework – Direct Award or Further Competition.

The other benefits of using this framework are:

  • Efficient and easy to use

  • Quicker route for procurement

  • Reduced timescales and costs

  • Dedicated framework user guide and resources

  • Contract manager support

  • National coverage

  • Pre-agreed terms and conditions

There are a number of dedicated resources available to support members with using the framework, including a detailed User Guide.

Further details can be found on the framework page.
