CPC’s new Staff Absence Protection & Reimbursement framework is now live

Published

CPC’s new Staff Absence Protection & Reimbursement framework offers members compliant access to a range of market-leading providers and policies for managing the cost of staff absence. The policy options available through the framework are typically flexible and can be tailored to individual requirements allowing members to determine your own benefit periods and excess periods.

Policy options are wide and varied and can provide cover for absences caused by accidents, illness, compassionate leave, jury service, suspension, maternity, paternity, adoption, bereavement, mental health, stranded staff and even middle leaders acting up for Ofsted inspections for example.

Through our pre-market engagement it was evident that members were seeking alternate ways of managing staff absence and therefore we have introduced a Discretionary Mutual Lot. All framework providers can deliver comprehensive arrangements which provide reimbursement of staff absence costs as required by individual members through further competition. The framework is split into 2 lots as follows:

LotSuppliers
Lot 1 - Staff Absence Insurance
  • Absence Protection Limited

  • Harrington Bates

  • Schools Advisory Service

  • Teacher Absence Limited

  • Towergate Insurance Brokers

Lot 2 - Discretionary Mutual arrangement for managing staff absence
  • Education Mutual Limited

  • Schools Advisory Service

CPC’s new Staff Absence Protection & Reimbursement framework continues to be let and managed by CPC in conjunction with Risk2Value, who are authorised and regulated to provide insurance advice.

Further information including guidance upon running a further competition can all be found on the Staff Absence Protection & Reimbursement framework page.
