In May 2021, CPL Group launched our latest round of grant funding for student events, activities and learning resources.
The deadline for applications has now passed and we are pleased to report that we received a total of 80 applications from CPC members.
The volume and quality of the applications exceeded our expectations, so much so that we took the decision to increase the total amount of grant funding available in this round so that we can fully or part fund the vast majority of qualifying applications.
CPL Group will now be granting a combined total of £300,000 to the successful CPC member applicants over the coming months!
As an education sector charity funded through the surplus made by Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC), Tenet Education Services and Tenet Procurement Services, we are delighted to be funding projects that support students across the country.
The projects to receive funding in this latest round are varied, from access to IT hardware for disadvantaged students, to the latest in virtual reality technology. Other examples include equipment for Duke of Edinburgh Award activities, programmes focusing on student wellbeing and the development of a sensory garden. We will be publishing more details about the individual awards and keeping you updated on the progress of some of these fabulous projects in the coming months, so keep an eye on the CPL Group website and social media pages!
How can you apply for future funding rounds?
CPL Group can fund our charitable programmes due to the fantastic support of CPC members, Tenet customers and CPC suppliers. The more you use our procurement services, the more we can invest.
We hope to be in a position to launch another round of grant funding for student events, activities and learning resources in Autumn 2021. To be notified of future funding opportunities, please ensure you are subscribed to the CPC Newsletter.
