Are you searching for reliable transportation options for your students? Explore a variety of suppliers through Crescent Purchasing Consortium's Student Transport DPS.
A 'student transport service' is any form of transport relating to students in an educational environment, which might mean a scheduled bus service with pick-ups on route or organised coach trips to points of interest and education visits.
This Dynamic Purchasing System enables CPC’s 10,000+ members to engage quickly with skilled and dedicated providers, simplifying the procurement process compared to traditional tendering methods or other frameworks.
There are multiple benefits to using the DPS, including:
• It is faster and easier to use than a full Find a Tender Service (FTS) tender process.
• After it has been established, members can award local contracts.
• It is based on generic service specifications, so members can adapt to meet their own specific requirements.
• It encourages competition, as it is much easier for local providers to get on to the DPS and join at any time.
• Members can undertake a further competition with all pre-qualified bidders.
• By following these guidelines, members can ensure they are adhering to public procurement legislation.
Additionally, by utilising this framework, you are helping contribute to our Giving Back charity initiative, which supports projects related to special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), student wellbeing, and reducing absenteeism.
