In a change from our regular programming, the fifth episode of No Ordinary Day in Procurement: The CPC Podcast sees Head of Communications & Engagement, Rana Holland, detailing many of the exciting things happening at CPC in 2026.
While not a procurement professional by trade (though she did once help procure a *blimp*, as covered in this new episode!), Rana Holland's 30+ year career has included more than a decade with Manchester City Council in a procurement-related role, before pivoting into a PR & Communications leadership capacity within the UK housing sector. Rana arrived at CPC in October 2021, assuming her responsibilities as our Head of Communications & Engagement and place on our Group Leadership Team (GLT), to which she is an active contributor. She was also a driving force behind our 2024 brand harmonisation, which brought all our education-supporting entities under the CPC umbrella, helping to refine the one-stop procurement shop we are today.
With so much on the horizon for CPC this year and so many opportunities for members to benefit from our extensive array of procurement services, Rana was an ideal person to summarise the state of play, in an industry where there is no ordinary day.
In conversation with CPC colleague and presenter Jack Horton, our Episode 5 recording session covered the following topics...
The value of CPC membership, considering the free services on offer
CPC's function linking member institutions with our 1,000+ suppliers
Our upcoming Excellence Awards and inaugural afternoon exhibition
CPC's all-new B2E Group that connects suppliers with other suppliers
Benefits of joining our CPC Village at the Schools & Academies Show
Social value, SEND funding, 'We're Off to the Big School!' and more...
