Fantasy Football - League of Procurement Results

Overall performance

The Premier League title was only decided on the final day by 1 point this season but in the League of Procurement the title was won with weeks to spare.

The honour of the best overall performance and winner of the League of Procurement 2018/2019 goes to… dramatic pause…. Carl Johnson with an outstanding points tally of 2412, finishing 156 points ahead of his closest competitor DJ Salmon AKA Steve Gorst - CPC & Tenet’s best performer.

Congratulations Carl you get the bragging rights for the first League of Procurement and we’d like to say a special thank you from everyone here at the CPC office for sparing us from a unbearable boasting which would've followed had Steve been victorious.

Wooden Spoon

Somebody has to finish bottom and a large number of CPC/Tenet staff were in contention, unfortunately this season's wooden spoon accolade went to Paul Hughes with a pitiful tally of 1,417 - I’d give the auto select a miss next year Paul!

Special shouts

  • The Mr Tinker-Man Award - Goes to Steve Gorst with a whopping 73 transfers, double the league average!

  • Not so Super Subs - Lee Duckworth missed out on 165 pts with star players sitting on the bench.

  • Brucie Bonus - Carl Read played his cards right and generated well over 200+ bonus points.

  • The Smalling & Jones award - Goes to Ryan Glover for having the leakiest of defences conceding 130 goals over the course of the season.

So there we are for another year, with mixed emotions – partly glad that it’s all over and partly missing it already. Thank you to everyone that has taken part and we hope to see you again next season… Only 63 days to go.
