FEFMN network events resume in month of October

Published

By Ashley Cox

Staff in the education sector with facilities management responsibilities can benefit from two virtual events in October, with a session on reporting and compliance following a networking, innovation and growth gateway.

On Wednesday 9th October (10.30am), the North West and Yorkshire branch of CPC's Further Education Facilities Management Network (FEFMN) will reconvene for a special online session, with a pair of guest speakers on hand.

Joining the discussion will be Dan Pilling, Workplace Strategy Director at the TSK Group, along with Mark Jackson, Director/Funding and Bid Manager at Academy Estates Consultants, with additional contributors to be confirmed.

Whether a tenured manager or relative newcomer the field, this Microsoft Teams event can help to tool you for challenges ahead, with opportunities and funding streams on the docket for discussion, plus practical strategies for efficient and sustainable facilities management and the chance to connect with various peers in this field.

An avenue to share relevant knowledge, information and best practice, the FEFMN is keen to take new voices on board as we combine to collectively shape our take on the future of facilities management in these two regions.

Meanwhile, following the lead of our Procurement Advisory Group's successful 'PAG Presents' series of subject-specific sessions, the FEFMN will stage a similar presentation the next day, with the inaugural 'FEFMN Presents' tackling the topic of making reporting and compliance work for you on Thursday 10th October (10am start).

This bitesize blast of around half an hour will be another way for CPC to support stakeholders in the sector, with more details on 'FEFMN Presents', as well as the FEFMN as a whole, available from its coordinator, Jack Horton.
