Following our November visit to the Schools North East Summit at St. James' Park, Crescent Purchasing Consortium will be back in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on Thursday 23rd January, talking education procurement at the SNE Academies Conference.
This year's annual Schools North East Academies Conference will be the eighth in the event's history and will take place at the Grand Hotel, Gosforth Park (NE3 5HN), a few miles outside of Newcastle's vibrant city centre, home to the famous Tyne Bridge.
CPC will be exhibiting on the day and you can find us at Stand 28 to discuss purchasing predicaments and offer expert advice.
Schools North East is the United Kingdom's only regional network led by schools and represents all 1,150 schools in its region.
With its headline theme of 'LEAD, not PLEAD', the Academies Conference looks to bring together academy heads, trust leaders and other education sector staff, with tailored sessions suited to heads, CEOs, CFOs, COOs and school business professionals.
Open from 8am, highlights of the event include a 9am keynote speech, 'Putting Social Mobility at the Heart of Education', from former Secretary of State for Education, Justine Greening, who led the DfE from July 2016 to January 2018, under Theresa May.
From keynote speeches to hands-on workshops, attendees have the opportunity not to only network within the North East of England's expansive education fraternity, but to acquire actionable improvement ideas they can take back to their institutions.
If you're planning to attend the Schools North East event on 23rd January, CPC would be delighted to see you, so head over to Stand 28 between 9am and 4pm and we can explore how our team can help make your procurement mission Mission Possible.
