As well as collaborating with CPC for November's PAG Presents webinar, the Schools Advisory Service (SAS) has supplied us with several external articles to support our members, spanning a series of sector-relevant subjects.
In one of three blog features shared with CPC, the SAS addresses the question, Are You Thriving at Work as a School Leader?, touching on aspects such as annual leave and self care, the latter of which is highlighted and powerfully described as about "giving those you work and live with, the best of you, not what is left of you!”
With October marking National Bullying Prevention Month, the SAS has tackled this regretfully relevant topic, sharing tips, information and extra resources in Stand Up Against Bullying: How to Recognise and Prevent It.
Finally, SAS Director of Wellbeing, Andy Mellor, has written on Parking Stress - The Concept of Flow, which may be of interest for school leaders and other staff members to take on board before making their regular commute.
The Schools Advisory Service is one of the six approved suppliers on our compliant Staff Absence Protection and Reimbursement framework, a CPC purchasing agreement that is recommended by the Department for Education.
Stakeholders across UK education can come and meet the SAS team at Birmingham's Schools & Academies Show this November, where they will be among our trusted suppliers forming part of the major exhibition's CPC Village.
