On Thursday 27th April, Nick Gauntlett, CEO of Dukefield Energy, held a webinar discussion in association with CPC, updating interested parties on relevant news items relating to the energy market, as well as offering advice on renewals strategy for October.
With over two decades’ experience servicing the education sector, Dukefield Energy (previously the Utilities Procurement Group) recently secured a new, five-year extension as CPC’s appointed energy consultant, continuing as sole supplier on our Utilities Supplies & Services framework.
Now designed to run to 2027, the Utilities Supplies & Services framework enables CPC members to employ Dukefield’s expertise in undertaking the procurement of electricity, gas and water contracts.
Among the successes of our ongoing partnership, CPC/Dukefield were able to support Birmingham’s King Edward VI Academy Trust by saving a sizeable £480,000 in their contract renewals of April 2020.
Several items were covered during the 27-minute update, including discussion of the Energy and Trade Intensive Industries (‘ETII’) support scheme.
