On behalf of all CPC staff, we welcome you to 2023, following a busy, but rewarding, 2022, where we passed the milestone of 9,000 CPC members.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve used our newsletter platform to announce information on our new, revised and forthcoming frameworks, keeping you updated with relevant changes and encouraging direct member feedback to help shape some of our latest framework agreements, moving forward.
We’ve supported members with useful information around the energy crisis, with regular market updates from our friends at Dukefield Energy, while we’ve been transparent with pricing and supply chain challenges, keeping you abreast of important developments in these times of economic strain.
We’ve given the floor to other guest writers, who have shared their own specific expertise, and have included a series of blog pieces, as well as news from CPC’s sister organisations and the wider sector.
We’ve invited you to events, both virtually and in person, alerting you to learning and networking opportunities, helping CPC members develop and acquire new procurement knowledge and skills.
And we’ve shared developments in public procurement regulations, as the existing Public Contract Regulations 2015 is re-shaped into the new Procurement Bill via the House of Lords and Commons.
In 2022, we published our landmark 100th newsletter, while our November edition had our most opens on record, underlining members’ enthusiasm for staying informed on procurement matters.
Into 2023, we aim to continue bringing you noteworthy news, updates and information, as we continue to build relationships with our readers, suppliers and institutions across the sector.
Happy New Year, from all at CPC.
