How the CPC can help with electronic procurement

Using a CPC framework avoids the need to invest in an e-tendering system as we offer members access to our e-tendering systems free of charge. For mini competitions via a framework that exceed £164,176 we recommend using the CPC Intend Mini Tender Tool. This tool complies with all the requirements of the Regulations including those that come into force after 18 October 2018. If you would like access to the portal please email the CPC Helpdesk at [email protected] and we will set up an account for you.

For mini competitions via frameworks that fall below the EU threshold we recommend utilising the CPC Quote Tool. This is a simple to use tool that allows requests for quotes to be sent to all suppliers on the framework in 3 easy steps. No separate registration is required, all that is needed is a CPC website user account which can be created by any individual working within a member institution.

If members wish to utilise the CPC Quote Tool for above threshold competitions there is the option of requesting tenders be returned by post to assist adherence to the Regulation that requires the content of tenders not be opened until the stipulated time limit for reply has expired.
