ICT Hardware and Peripherals Equipment framework – now recommended by the DfE

Published

By Jane Edwards

The Department for Education’s approval process for the ‘Find a DfE approved framework for your school’ website involved CPC providing the following ICT Hardware framework information:

  • User Guide, including ITT and OJEU notices
  • Stock availability spreadsheet
  • Case Study
  • Videos for Direct Award and Mini Competition Calculators
  • General agreement details

The ICT Hardware and Peripherals Equipment framework agreement offers members a competitive and compliant route to market with the benefit of standard Call Off Terms written to the benefit of members rather than suppliers.

There are tools and templates on the ICT Hardware and Peripherals Equipment framework page for members to access to make carrying out a Mini / Further Competition or Direct Award an easier process.

Please note that demand is out stripping supply at the moment for ICT equipment, with longer than usual lead-times. Laptops and tablets including iPads are in particularly high demand due to the current situation with people working from home and home schooling. CPC has been liaising with suppliers to find out the lead times and stock levels for high demand items to help our members with sourcing equipment, see the latest information here.

Members with any questions or queries should direct them to Jane Edwards, Category Manager at [email protected]
