Crescent Purchasing Consortium is delighted to launch its new Educational Professional Services purchasing framework, offering a comprehensive and compliant procurement solution for our members in the UK education sector and beyond.
Education Professional Services is CPC's first Open Framework under the new Procurement Act 2023 regulations and offers a flexible way for members to access a variety of education-specific professional services. The framework is unique in its services and structure, while covering areas at the forefront of the sector's needs. Some examples of these areas include translation and interpretation services for students and their families, who might not have English as their first language, as well as therapy and psychology services that support the mental health of students and staff.
The framework's seven lots are split as follows:
SEND Advisory Services
Curriculum Development and Assessment
Therapy and Psychology Services
Translation and Interpretation Services
Leadership Development Training and Support Services
Careers Advice and Guidance Services
Technology and Integration Services
As with any CPC procurement framework, there are multiple benefits to utilising this solution. These include compliance with both Procurement Act 2023 and internal financial regulations, as well as multiple call-off mechanisms, free templates and use of the CPC Quote Tool and e-tendering platform. In addition, by using this framework, you are supporting CPC’s Giving Back charity initiative, which reinvests in education by way of grant funding for purchases, projects and events.
The Open Framework will operate for eight years, with various openings throughout its duration to allow for new entrants, as well as to facilities any tweaks to the structure and specification. This framework is also open to the wider UK public sector via Crescent Services, as most of its listed services can be employed outside of education.
