One of the many advantages of using an EU tendered framework agreement is that the risk of non-compliance is greatly reduced, providing of course that you follow the rules that apply to the framework. To assist you with this CPC has two quotation tools in place to help you with your mini competitions though our framework agreements. The main features of the tools are compared in the table below:
What Do You Need? | CPC Website Quotation Tool | CPC In-Tend Quotation Tool | |
---|---|---|---|
Issue documents electronically | Yes | Yes | |
Allow issue of clarifications to all suppliers | Yes | Yes | |
Allow sealed bids | Yes | Yes | |
Allow hard copy tender returns | Yes | No | |
Allow emailed tender returns | Yes | No | |
Allow auditable correspondence between buyer and supplier(s) | No | Yes | |
Allow electronic tender returns | No | Yes | |
Allow official opening ceremony | No | Yes | |
View full audit trail | No | Yes | |
Use CPC Quote Tool | Use CPC In-Tend Tool |
Both tools have the option to ‘Award Contract’, this feature helps CPC to manage the collection of spend data from our suppliers so it is really important that you award the contact at the end of your process.
We are working to produce some guidelines to help you when using the Tools which will be available on the website.
If you have any queries regarding your spend data from CPC please contact Liz Owen at [email protected] and if you have any queries regarding the Quotation Tools please contact the Contract Manager assigned to that framework.
