We are presently in the standstill period before awarding the new Mechanical, Electrical and Building Fabric Maintenance Services Framework. We are hopeful that the standstill will pass without issue and we are able to present details of the new framework to members on 10th March 2020.
The new M&E framework is split into 12 regional lots and 1 national lot with an increased number of suppliers as requested by members. The framework is designed to meet the Mechanical, Electrical & Building Fabric Maintenance needs of our members and will allow you to engage quickly with competent, capable and committed contractors and will remove many of the obstacles you may face when using traditional tendering methods or other frameworks.
When utilising this framework agreement, you will be able to appoint a single contractor capable of delivering your FULL M&E requirement inclusive of all associated trades. The value of works can be varied and may include (but is not limited to) the range of trades and services outlined below. It is anticipated that this single relationship between client and contractor will create efficiencies and synergies in terms of time, quality and cost from a project delivery perspective.
Servicing and maintenance of specialist systems such as Fire Detection and Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Disabled Refuge Alarm, BMS
Provision of statutory certification and risk assessments
Safety Checks for gas, emergency lighting, security and fire systems
